We're very excited that we could participate in Food & Wine Magazine's Taste of Beverly Hills, September 2-5.

Taste of Beverly Hills 9/02/10 was a four-day festival that celebrated all things epicurean in ALL of Los Angeles. The festival consisted of everything from local restaurant tastings and live cooking demonstrations from world renown chefs, to a series of wine seminars from top vintners, as well as live musical performances from award winning artists.
The festival was designed to target everyone from true gastronomes and wine enthusiasts, to those who just want to get out of the house and experience an unparalleled day/night/weekend of food and entertainment. As a Beverly Hills icon, we participated in all six events.

MICKEY FINE PHARMACY & GRILL® MAKES ITS HOLLYWOOD PREMIERE ON
STARZ ORIGINAL SERIES “HEAD CASE”
Beverly Hills, Ca (March 17, 2009) – Mickey Fine Pharmacy & Grill®, originally one of the Schwab Pharmacies in the 1950’s where Hollywood talent was discovered, makes its own entertainment premiere on the Starz original comedy series, “Head Case.” The series premieres on Starz, Friday, March 20 at 10:00 p.m. (et/pt).
“Head Case,” the irreverent, unscripted comedy series, revolves around Hollywood celebrity “it” therapist Dr. Elizabeth Goode portrayed by Alexandra Wentworth (“Live with Oprah”, “Seinfeld” “In Living Color”)
“Head Case” also stars Steve Landesberg (“Barney Miller”) as Dr. Myron Finkelstein, a Freudian psychiatrist who works in the same practice as Dr. Goode. Throughout the series, Dr. Finkelstein is often seen frequenting Mickey Fine Pharmacy & Grill® everyday for lunch, running up a tab that far exceeds what a Freudian shrink with absolutely no patients can afford....also sitting counter side this season will be Dr. Goode’s trusted assistant Lola, played by Michelle Arthur (“Grey’s Anatomy” and “Alias”) in addition to Goode’s slippery fiancé Jeremy Berger, played by Rob Benedict (“Waiting”).
Each episode of this original comedy series features a unique mix of celebrity guests who appear as themselves to seek guidance from Dr. Goode. Amongst those arriving for a mental tune-up this season: Jerry Seinfeld, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, “Desperate Housewives” creator Marc Cherry, James Denton, Kevin Rahm, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, Andy Dick, “Heroes” star Greg Grunberg, Playboy’s Hugh Hefner with one time girlfriend Bridget Marquardt, SNL™ alum Kevin Nealon, “Survivor” host Jeff Probst, superstar songstress Macy Gray, TV reality stars Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott, “CSI New York’s” Melina Kanakaredes, “Damages” star Tate Donovan, Calle Thorne, fashionista Issac Mizrahi, Janeane Garofalo, chef Mario Batali, Paulina Poriskova, Sandra Bernhard, Tiffani Thiessen, Craig Bierko Jennifer Finnigan and Jonathan Silverman, Illeana Douglas, Las Vegas magician Lance Burton and WWE® star Dave Batista.™
“Head Case” is a Starz Entertainment original production in association with the Farrand/Bauer Company. The series is created by Alexandra Wentworth and Robert Bauer and is executive produced Robert Bauer, Jason Farrand, and Alexandra Wentworth. The series is directed by Jason Farrand.
Mickey Fine Pharmacy & Grill is the only original pharmacy with soda fountain in Los Angeles. The “Head Case” practice of Dr. Goode is the building on Roxbury Drive, where Mickey Fine is situated.
